Viticulture

Total area: 30 hectares, plateaus and east facing slopes between 140 & 190 metres above sea level.
During the winter the vines are used as pasture for a herd of sheep.
We use the wood of our oldest vines to propagate new plants, keeping the uniqueness of the vines.
We prune for a limited yield, less than half the authorized yield in the Apellation.
The land is plowed in the Spring, and we use powdered sulfur and copper at low doses.
Average age of vines: 35/40 years.
Density: 4000 to 6700 vines / hectare, older vines are not trellised (Languedoc goblet).
Grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and new plantations of Syrah & Mourvedre.
Yield 25 hectolitres / hectare.
Number of Bottles: 30,000 bottles.
